Hrithik takes potshots at Salman again

Bollywood stars and their constant digs at each other in some way or the other are certainly quite common these days. However when the digs are taken up to be something different than what they actually are supposed to mean then things do take a nasty turn.

Thus when sometime back hot hunk Salman Khan had called Hrithik Roshan a child it was taken quite with a pinch of salt by Hrithik and everyone thought that the episode was over and out. However, according to the buzz, Hrithik Roshan has gone on to state something like Salman Khan thinks that everyone is conspiring against him, which is not true since everyone in the industry loves him that too in the popular chat show Koffee with Karan everyone is speculating on that one.

Well, the episode with Hrithik and Suzanne Roshan is to be aired coming Sunday and the excitement is already at its best with this smart comment from Hrithik.

Now even if it was something which was said in absolute good humor there might be something in between the lines feel some speculators.

Now whether this brings in some good rapport between the two top notch stars or it brings some mudslinging is not yet known, but knowing the two stars this will simply be something like a joke that the two might share between themselves- now that’s what is called looking at the brighter side of things if there ever was any!

Shammi Kapoor Is All Praises For Hrithik

Hrithik Roshan went to London for the unveiling of his wax statue at Madame Tussauds. When he was about to board the flight, his family called him to say that the famous Shammi Kapoor wanted to have a few words with him.

A huge fan of Shammi Kapoor, Hrithik did not want to miss the opportunity to speak to him. So he humbly requested the cabin crew to allow him to receive one phone call. His request was granted and he spoke on the phone with Shammiji.

It so happened that Shammi Kapoor had just seen GUZAARISH and was full of praises for Hrithik. He wanted to call Hrithik to bless him and wish him all the best for his future endeavors. Hrithik was in a blissful mood after attending his phone call. He is a huge fan of the legendary Shammi Kapoor. As a child, Hrithik used to imitate his dance steps before a mirror.

When Shammiji was contacted, he confirmed speaking to Hrithik on the phone. According to him, Hrithik was a big talent in the industry and deserved to be encouraged.
For the airline, granting Hrithik his request was a rare exception.

When Hrithik Roshan was contacted, he said that he attended Shammiji’s phone call when he was on board. He further added that the legendary Shammi Kapoor had made his day as this was the first compliment from him.

SRK Made Hrithik Miss His Flight

It’s no big deal that SRK and Hrithik are good buddies in Bollywood but they are bonding big time which is the important part. Both of them are spending quality time with each other by partying hard.

At a recently concluded Awards event in Singapore, SRK called his buddy Hrithik and asked him to party with him. Incidentally Hrithik was on his way to airport to leave for India but that didn’t happen.

“Hrithik wanted to leave for India and his flight was booked. However SRK called him and told him that it was on January 14 that he made his debut in Bollywood. Since he had completed 11 years in Bollywood, it was time to party. SRK told him that he too was leaving the next day and asked him to come along with him in a chartered flight. So, SRK, Hrithik, along with Karan Johar, Arjun Rampal and Mehr, and Priyanka Chopra partied hard with Hrithik in his room, “explains our source.

While Hrithik’s debut KAHO NAA PYAR HAI went on to become biggest hit of the year, Shahrukh’s first home production PHIR BHI DIL HAI HINDUSTANI, which was released one week after KNPH, bombed at the box office.

Next day Hrithik left with SRK along with Suzanne and Karan for India.

'Blast' to get fit

The quest to get those perfectly sculpted muscles always sees some new addition or the other. The latest one that’s finding a lot of takers — right from A-listers like Hrithik Roshan, Shahid Kapur and even Colleen Rooney — is Gravity Blast. This is a 30-minute, highly intense workout which is based on resistance to increase strength and firm up muscles.

The Gravity Blast workout is often done on a specialised training kit called the Gravity Training System or GTS. Elaborating on these workouts, Daniel D’Souza, a fitness trainer, says, “This exercise regime is only for those who have been working out for a while, not for beginners. It is a weight-based resistance training system where one banks on their resistance power to build muscles. So instead of pulling weights you are resisting their force.” He adds, “Of course, this also has a lot to do with one’s will power too.” The equipment can also be adjusted to suit one’s needs. “One must begin on a low incline and less resistance and build this up gradually. Those who are seriously looking to work on their muscles even work on an incline of 60 per cent sometimes,” says Namrata Rao, a fitness coach.
One of the biggest advantages of this workout is that it helps to strengthen all the muscles in the body. “When you compare it to the regular weights that one does, these are more effective because they work out some ignored muscle groups too. Since it is for a span of 30 minutes, the attention to various muscles is also distributed equally to ensure that there is an all-round effect. One can do up to 175 different exercises using the GTS,” explains Namrata. The downside is something that’s common with various other exercises — boredom. “There is not much room for innovation here and that’s why I often get my clients to combine a Gravity Blast workout with some other form of physical activity like swimming or tennis,” adds Daniel.
