Hrithik says Katrina is beautiful and super-talented (Video)

Zarina Wahab to play the role of Hrithik’s mother in "AGNEEPATH".

Karan Johar is all set to start his much-awaited remake of Agneepath early next month. After finalising Hrithik for the unforgettable role of Vijay Dinanath Chouhan, played by Amitabh Bachchan in the original, and Priyanka Chopra in the role of Kali, he has now signed on Zarina Wahab to play the all important role of Hrithik’s mother, originally played by Rohini Hattangadi.

Our source said, “At one point of time, Karan was even considering signing Rohini again for the role.
However, he decided against it as it would have looked odd. So, after considering several other actresses, Karan decided Zarina would fit the bill. Incidentally, the actress had also acted as SRK’s mother in My Name Is Khan which worked in her favour as her performance was appreciated by the audience and the critics. Karan was keen to have someone with an intense presence as that is one of the most pivotal characters in the film. Considering that the characters of Mithun and Neelam are no longer part of the script, Karan wanted to make sure that the other characters were well sketched and merged into the script.”

Hrithik is going to unveil his wax figure this Friday

Hrithik Roshan, who turned 37 today, will become the fifth Bollywood celebrity to have his wax figure at the prestigious Madame Tussauds when he unveils it on Friday (January 14).

"I never thought in my wildest of dreams that there will be a time in my life when I'll be unveiling my own statue at the Madame Tussauds. I remember once I've stood there in the line for three hours when I was a 12-year-old to see the museum," Hrithik revealed.

Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan have already got their statues in the London museum.

"It's just going to be symbolic of my journey. It's going to be something that will motivate me when I'm tired. I'll think of this statue and it will make be keep going and giving my best. It makes me feel great and will help me fight my exhaustion," he added.

Hrithik's 'Paani' gets abondoned ?

Shekhar Kapur’s most ambitious venture refuses to take off. According to rumour mills, the high profile film that Hrithik Roshan had agreed to be a part of, has been called off. Earlier, there had been rumours that the film was facing problems but this time it seems, the news is final.

Our source said, “Manmohan Shetty who had agreed to back the film has now backed out from the project leaving Kapur high and dry. Shetty wants to focus on the new amusement park he wants to construct in Mumbai.”

Since the last three years Paani has been going through a roller coaster ride. And now when things were falling in place, it has run into trouble waters once again.”

When contacted Manmohan Shetty, however, denied the news. He said, “It is not true. Whenever Paani will be made, I will be with Shekhar.”

So what are the reasons for the delays then, we wonder. Can it be Hrithik’s busy schedule or is the reason something that Kapur would care to shed light on?
